April 21st – Finding the Right Price in Support of Financial Literacy Month

Why: Dig a little deeper into the financial aspects of entrepreneurship and discover the many ways to price your product as well as how the price of your products affects other business items like marketing. Skills: Business Acumen, Critical Thinking, and Enterprising
Greg Malkin, Serial Entrepreneur and Founder of Young Entrepreneur Institute, will come out of retirement and lead us on a product pricing journey.
Cindy Weaver, Senior Regional Director, Great Lakes, EverFi, will introduce us to Venture – Entrepreneurial Expedition where students learn all about finance including pricing while they start their own food truck business.
Ethan Holmes, Founder & CEO, Holmes Made Foods, will discuss the pricing strategy for Holmes Mouthwatering Applesauce and review financial curriculum he uses with students.
Travis Adams, CEO, My First Sale, will demonstrate how students can participate in a learn-by-doing platform that gives kids the life skills and confidence to sell their products in a safe, friendly online environment.
