On Thursday, February 18, we welcomed nearly 60 educators to an Educator Power Hour focused on Compassion and Empathy.

Leah Berdysz, Founder and CEO of Empowered & Poised, discussed the importance of compassion and shared an activity for classrooms.

Marisa Matero-Maury, Founder of Student Engagement through Creative Storytelling, presented on ways to teach empathy.

Kelli McCorvey and Lynn Carney, teachers in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, shared educator perspectives of teaching empathy and compassion.
